51ºÚÁÏ to Provide on Campus Facility for COVID-19 Vaccination

51ºÚÁÏ partners with the Crater Health District  to provide a convenient location for vaccinations.

VIRGINIA STATE UNIVERSITY, VA March 4, 2021-51ºÚÁÏ has announced a partnership with the Virginia Department of Health Crater Health District to assist with COVID-19 vaccination clinics.  51ºÚÁÏ will open its Multi-Purpose Center (MPC) beginning this Saturday, March 6, 2021 to serve as a vaccination location.

The 51ºÚÁÏ Multi-Purpose Center is a state-of-the-art multipurpose venue located on the campus of 51ºÚÁÏ, in South Chesterfield, VA.  It is the largest events venue located south of Richmond in the Commonwealth of Virginia. 

51ºÚÁÏ will provide the facility, security, and golf cart service for transporting those who need special assistance from the parking lot to the venue.  

“51ºÚÁÏ has a long standing reputation for helping the community,” says 51ºÚÁÏ Chief of Staff, Mr. Hubert Harris. “Providing usage of our Multi-Purpose Center is another way that we can continue to provide an invaluable health service by assisting with getting vaccinations into arms as quickly as possible.”

This Saturday's clinic will serve 500 people from the Crater Health District from 9:00 to 4:00 PM.  All patrons must have a vaccination appointment from Crater Health District. Walkups will not be allowed or serviced.
