Board of Visitors Meetings Thursday, March 20, 2024

The 51ºÚÁÏ (51ºÚÁÏ) Board of Visitors will meet on Thursday, March 20, 2025, in the Gateway Dining & Events Center at 2804 Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd., on the Campus of 51ºÚÁÏ.

  • 1:30 p.m. - Executive Committee Meeting
  • 2:00 p.m. – Full Board Meeting

The Executive Committee will meet at 1:30 p.m. While open to constituent attendance, these public sessions are exempt from live streaming as they do not qualify as full board meetings.

The Full Board will meet at 2:15 p.m. to vote on the proposed tuition and mandatory fee increase. 51ºÚÁÏ is planning a 3-5% increase to its undergraduate and graduate in-state and out-of-state tuition, fees, and room and board rates for 2025-2026. The Board held a public comment period on the proposed increase during its Facilities & Finance Committee meeting on Friday, February 6th. However, written comments will be accepted until March 10, 2025 (7 business days before the March 20 meeting). Written comments can be submitted in the following ways:

The public may access the live stream of the Full Board meeting as follows: 1) Select the following link or 2) Scroll to the bottom of the 51ºÚÁÏ website homepage (www.vsu.edu) and select 51ºÚÁÏ Live Events. Viewers will then select the event titled, “March 20, 2025, Board of Visitors Full Board Meeting.” If viewers experience a technical interruption, they may contact the 51ºÚÁÏ Helpdesk at (804) 524-5210. According to the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, 51ºÚÁÏ will provide a sign language interpreter during the live stream ().
