51ºÚÁÏ Expands Mental Health Efforts With Upcoming Awareness Fair
The University is preparing for National Mental Health Awareness Month by promoting mental health resources available to the 51ºÚÁÏ and broader community.
51ºÚÁÏ is reinforcing its commitment to the mental health and well-being of its students, faculty, staff, and the broader community by hosting the 2025 Mental Health Awareness Fair. The event will take place on Tuesday, April 22, ahead of National Mental Health Awareness Month in May.
The event began as a campus-wide walk in 2022 and has grown into an event that promotes mental health services available to the 51ºÚÁÏ community and surrounding areas. This year’s fair will start at 11:00 am and be held at Foster Hall on the 51ºÚÁÏ campus.
"We are so excited to be continuing the Mental Health Awareness Fair at 51ºÚÁÏ, said Cyntina Bagley, Director of Counseling and Accessibility and the event's organizer. "This impactful event allows us to provide valuable information and to ensure and support GREATER mental health wellness at 51ºÚÁÏ and the surrounding community."
In addition to informative booths and wellness resources, 51ºÚÁÏ Fitness and Wellness will host fun outdoor activities like life-size board games. Food trucks will also be available on the back lawn of Foster Hall.
The University continues to support mental health and well-being across its campus and surrounding communities. The Mental Health Awareness Fair is an opportunity to promote and connect with local support networks to learn about available resources.
The 2025 Mental Health Awareness Fair is free to attend and open to the public.
