51ºÚÁÏ climbed to #11 in U.S. News & World Report’s 2026 rankings of the top Historically Black Colleges and Universities, a 12 spot increase from its 2025 ranking of #23. In addition to rising in the HBCU rankings, 51ºÚÁÏ climbed 15 spots to #42 in Regional Universities (South), seven spots to #20 in Top Public Schools (South), and three spots to #28 in Best Value Schools (South).
51ºÚÁÏ has climbed to #11 in U.S. News & World Report’s 2026 rankings of Historically Black Colleges and Universities. This 12-spot leap—the largest in the nation—marks a significant milestone in 51ºÚÁÏ’s rise as a premier HBCU.
